United Arab Emirates, 17 February 2026 – Viu, PCCW’s leading video streaming service, has unveiled its premium slate for Ramadan 2026: a carefully selected line-up of 12 Arabic dramas designed to make choosing what to watch this season effortless. Selective by design, the titles combine standout scripts, elevated production values and some of the Arab world’s biggest names in front of and behind the camera.
Spanning social drama, thrillers, comedy, crime and psychological suspense, these series explore love and loss, ambition and betrayal, family pressures, moral dilemmas and the consequences of irreversible choices.
Spotlight title: Ali Klay
At the heart of Viu’s Ramadan slate is Ali Klay, a powerful Egyptian thriller drama led by Ahmed El Awady. Building on the success of Fahd El Batal last Ramadan, El Awady returns in a high-stakes story about fighting your way out of a world shaped by corruption and hardship.
Ali is born an adopted orphan and grows up surrounded by injustice, yet refuses to be defined by it. Inspired by Muhammad Ali and fueled by a passion for boxing, he rises to become a successful businessman determined to give back by opening an orphanage. Just as he begins to build the life he dreamed of, betrayal from his own brothers brings him crashing down.

Al Souq Al Hurra
Set in the bustling duty-free area of an international airport, this Egyptian comedy series blends classic humor with a modern twist. With warm-hearted characters, light chaos, and playful interactions between staff and passengers, the series delivers feel-good comedy with broad family appeal.
Al Meqaad El Akheer
A Syrian youth drama about Yara, a determined young woman from a humble background who earns a scholarship to an elite school and must confront bullying, class prejudice and social pressure. Atr Zghantout
A dark Egyptian psychological thriller centred on Yaseen, whose past begins with a mysterious fire at his orphanage started by a masked boy. Now a famous media personality, Yaseen’s life unravels when his girlfriend Yusra discovers the truth—and is murdered. Esaal Rouhak

Qabl wa Baad
A Kuwaiti social comedy set in a plastic surgery clinic, where four partners—including a fashionista and a makeup artist—navigate personal and professional challenges with humour and heart. Through light, character-driven storytelling, the series reflects on inner versus outer beauty and social expectations. Starring Abdelaziz Al-Musallam, Zahra Al-Kharji and Ahmed Al-Aunan.
Ana w la Ana
A Gulf family drama about a simple Khaliji family that begins to fracture after the father’s death. As each member is pulled toward a different path between patience and dark temptation, the eldest son struggles to hold the family together while his siblings spiral toward chaos, greed and power. Starring Naif Al Rashed, Nermin Mohsen, Shaifan Mohammed and Rawan Altowairqi.
